How to Chose the Perfect Calendar to Get Things Done

I’ve tried so many types of written calendars and organizing systems, but the one that seems to work the best for me is an online calendar. I use Google Calendar. Take a look at these three tips for finding the perfect one for you.

Look for Accessibility. Having an online calendar allows me access to my calendar at any time. I almost always have my phone or iPad with me, so I’m able to access my schedule at any time. It also allows for setting appointments immediately rather than waiting until “I check my calendar.”

Cost. Who doesn’t love FREE? Google calendar is free and works perfectly if you have a gmail account.

Size. What size calendar works best for you? For me, small and easy to take with me wherever I go. Having an electronic schedule works well so I can take my calendar with me on the tennis court, to the office, or vacation. Paper calendars (depending on the size) often means carrying a giant hefty bag. Paper weighs more than my iPhone. I connect on my iPad and desktop to my phone. Which means I don’t worry about losing my information. I also always carry a charger with me. It’s a pain, but it’s light.
