Smile. Even if you don’t feel like it, put a smile on your face. When you’re smiling, people will often smile back at you and that feels pretty awesome. Did you know people can actually hear a smile over the phone?

Start a Gratitude Journal. Begin by writing one thing you’re grateful for daily. It can be as simple as having air to breath or the ability to walk, see, or listen. I prefer to use a journal and a pen rather than type on my laptop. I feel a sense of grounding when I write.

Stop Complaining. Try a day without complaining or at least keeping your mouth shut and not say a word. If you’re going to think or say anything, try to find something positive. Live in the moment and don’t take things personally.
