I play tennis. When someone calls a ball out and the other person thinks it’s in…most come to the conclusion that the other person is “hooking” them. Really?

I’ve seen this happen over and over again on the tennis courts. I’ve seen normal sweet women ready to take each other down. It’s amazing how one act can change the tennis court into a battle field.

When I play a match, I try not to take things too personally…the person on the other side of the net obviously can’t see or is just a big cheater. Right?

In the Four Agreements, Don Miguel Ruiz goes into great detail about taking things personally. It can be tough to grasp, but once you do…life is just a little easier and simpler.
